Mr. Ajay Khurana, the eldest son of Mr. Ved Prakash Khurana, entered the family business in 1974. His talent for quickly identifying the pain points of customers and discovering ways to address them was so effective that he spearheaded the sales activities of the Group. He also has a remarkable track record of driving digital transformation for enterprises, executing successful business turnarounds, and managing acquisitions.
Having obtained an MBA from Delhi, Mr. Ajay Khurana acquired invaluable business insights under the mentorship of his father, and developed a strong business acumen as the scion of the family. He places great emphasis on delivering results and ensuring customer satisfaction. Today, Mr. Ajay Khurana not only leads an efficient team but also sets industry trends, establishing the CBSL Group as an industry leader and the preferred service provider. His leadership has earned the Group a reputation for credibility, customer satisfaction, and timely delivery.
In the year 1982, the younger son of Mr. Ved Prakash Khurana, Mr. Anuj Khurana also joined the business after graduating from Delhi College of Engineering. He embarked on his career in 1982 as a Management Trainee at Khurana Brothers, a subsidiary of the Group. Since then, he has played a pivotal role in establishing and expanding diverse business verticals within the Group. These businesses include security printing, document information and management solutions, banking automation solutions, and integrated solar power solutions for industries in India and overseas.
Renowned and respected in the industry, Mr. Anuj Khurana is an innovative thinker who identifies opportunities, and develops solutions & businesses around them. He capitalised his core strength of bringing technology and innovation to the solutions we offer to clients, and became the man behind driving tie-ups and global relationships to develop new products and solutions. Currently, he is actively involved in mentoring young leaders in the CBSL Group for continued success & growth.
Mr. Aseem Khurana, grandson of Mr. Ved Prakash Khurana, joined the Group in the year 2008 after completing his Masters in Entrepreneurship from Boston. He propelled the next phase of growth in the Group and played a pivotal role in leading the company into a new era - driving improvements in systems, processes, and product delivery while keeping up with emerging technologies. As a key member of the executive team, he has successfully overseen the company's expansion, adeptly navigating a dynamic technology and business landscape.
Mr. Aseem Khurana has effectively managed complex leadership transitions and achieved strong financial performance across multiple fronts, including growth, profitability, free cash generation, and shareholder returns. Currently, he serves as the head of the Record Management division of the Group, oversees the Finance Division of the Group, and spearheads macro-level execution strategies for all our companies. Mr. Aseem Khurana formally instituted the policies and initiatives of CBSL’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities and outreach programs.
The granddaughter of Mr. Ved Prakash Khurana, Ms. Raghvi Khurana joined CBSL in the year 2017. She is a design strategist and branding professional with diverse cultural experiences. Her keen aesthetic acumen and diverse business knowledge, nurtured through interactions with her grandfather, father, uncle, and brother, has been instrumental in shaping her contributions at the Group.
Leveraging her education in Visual Communications, she quickly emerged as the organisation's prominent communications representative. Mr. S. R. Bhutani, a retired top official from the State Bank of India with over 36 years of experience in banking and related fields, has made significant contributions throughout his career. He has held various positions in banks such as State Bank of Indore, State Bank of Patiala, State Bank of India, and SBI Cards.
With a Post Graduate degree from Punjab University and CAIIB certification, Mr. S. R. Bhutani possesses extensive expertise in bank operations and credit management, and has served as the Zonal and Regional Head of branches across different states. Additionally, he has held the position of Chief Financial Officer at SBI Cards. For over six years, Mr. S. R. Bhutani has been associated with the CBSL Group, where he oversees strategic planning, global operations, acquisitions, and servicing activities for various government departments and public sector undertakings (PSUs).
Mr. P.K. Verma, a seasoned banker with over three and a half decades of experience at India's largest bank (SBI), has successfully handled diverse operational and administrative assignments across a wide geographic area. Notably, he served as the Head of the Channels Department at the bank's Corporate Centre for two years, spearheading numerous initiatives to encourage branch transactions through alternate channels.
For over six years, Mr. Verma has been associated with the CBSL Group, where he plays a pivotal role in business strategy development and implementation.
Ms. Renu Joshi, a Chartered Accountant with three decades of rich experience in finance, holds the position of CFO at the CBSL Group. Her incredible expertise encompasses various areas such as managing corporate and factory accounts, finance, statutory and taxation compliances, bank credit facilities, and implementation of SAP/ ERP systems for manufacturing and trading companies. She excels in coordinating internal, statutory, and tax audits, evaluating internal control systems, and finalisation of accounts.

Mr. Ashish Chandra is a proven and consummate leader in business transformation, business development, account management, handling sales, customer relations. Etc. He has done Bachelor in Electronics from Kurukshetra University, Management studies from Bhartiya Vidyapeeth and Pursuing a Fellowship on Consumer Behaviour and its social impact in marketing from Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management.
He is adept at creating, building, and managing creative and highly organised teams to bring about enhanced business outcome. He is recognized as a highly motivated and proactive leader, dedicated to ensuring quality practices and beneficial organisational changes across many functional areas.
In his role as President - Sales & Marketing of the CBSL Group, Mr Ashish is taking care of Sales and Marketing across the multiple verticals of the Group, focussing on DSS, new ventures for the overall business growth, etc.
Before joining CBSL Group, he was working as a “Country Director” in De La Rue from the last 18 years and has been responsible for top line growth.
In his earlier stint with the CBSL Group, he was associated with “Khurana Brothers Private Limited” as a General Manager (Marketing). He was also a “Governing Body Member” in ASPA, an industry body authentication solution provider based in new Delhi from 2019-2023.
Mr. Madan Jit Singh, an Honours Graduate in Mathematics and a Postgraduate in Operations Research from the University of Delhi, commenced his career with the Punjab National Bank in the year 1976. With an extensive experience of 37 years, he has served in various capacities, including the position of General Manager (Transaction Banking Division) within the bank. Throughout his career, he has represented PNB on esteemed committees such as SWIFT, RBI, and IDRBT. Additionally, he has held the position of Director at NPCI. Notably, during his five-year tenure in London, he successfully established and operated as the Managing Director of PNB's international subsidiary, Punjab National Bank (International) Ltd.

He has held the position of Managing Director at PNB Housing Finance Limited, showcasing his expertise in the field. Mr. V. K. Khanna possesses extensive experience in administration, training systems, bank branch management, and operations. Throughout his tenure with PNB, he has successfully led various zones across different geographical locations.
For over eight years now, Mr. V. K. Khanna has been associated with the CBSL Group. He currently serves as the head of the Printing Division. In this role, he assumes responsibility for managing the printing operations and overseeing various administrative matters pertaining to the group.
Mr. Rakesh Kumar, a former General Manager of Information Technology at PNB, brings with him a wealth of more than 15 years of experience in Information Technology (IT). His expertise lies in areas such as core banking solution, payment systems, and alternate delivery channels, including ATM, internet banking, and mobile banking.
Throughout his tenure at PNB and its sponsored Regional Rural Banks, Mr. Rakesh Kumar demonstrated exceptional skill in effectively managing these critical components of the banking infrastructure.
